Miknits Knitting Kit – Lady Cat

A kit for knitting Lady Cat mittens featuring an elegant, slender cat motif in a poised pose. Incorporating kid mohair of different materials into the base of Aran yarn, it beautifully expresses the fluffy texture of cat fur. Combining different types of yarn is a distinctive feature unique to Miknits kits. The V-shaped stitches in the eye area look just like curled eyelashes. “There are hearts in the cat’s eyes,” commented Miyoko Okao, the stylist for the model photography. The kit comes in three color variations, with beautiful colors that highlight the cat’s facial expressions. The shape and construction follow traditional mitten patterns, with a slightly relaxed fit. Mariko Mikuni designed this kit envisioning a Siamese cat, but for those of you who have cats at home, the pieces will become even more precious if you knit them with thoughts of your own cats. *The yarn will be delivered in cake form (comes with clear folder).
