The knitting needles made from rigid and flexible Japanese bamboo are crafted one by one by skilled artisans. Various innovations have been incorporated to make knitting easier, such as sharpening the tips to easily pick up knitting stitches, carefully polishing the needle surfaces to improve yarn gliding, and making the cords flexible to rotate freely and prevent kinks.
