Izumi Shiokawa Polar Bear Small Drawer Pouch

This pouch is like carrying an entire drawer with you wherever you go. Keep it on hand to easily access stationery whenever you need it, or use it on your desk to safely store your important items. The Drawer Pouch is like a Hobonichi Techo cover as it can store many items despite its compact size. Illustrator Izumi Shiokawa drew this piece called “Polar Bear.” The illustration was first featured in a polar bear exhibit hosted by Hoboinchi in 2021, and was then featured on a 2023 Hobonichi Techo cover. Now it’s available for the first time as a Drawer Pouch design. The polar bear cubs doted on by their mother are depicted with thick, soft lineart and given adorable expressions. The back of the pouch has a polar bear splayed out on its belly and relaxing. Just looking at it will give you a gentle feeling inside.
